Steps for MyFSU Account Registration

Before you begin, make sure you have your 9-Digit FSU ID Number (UID). This unique identifier is typically assigned to individuals affiliated with FSU, including new and former students, faculty, staff, UCOP or UC Merced staff, contractors, and Bruincard holders.

Step 2: Verify Your Identity

In this step, you’ll need to provide identification details to confirm your identity.

  1. Enter Your Information: Input your 9-Digit FSU ID Number and any other identifying information that may be required.
  2. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Follow the on-screen instructions provided to verify your identity. This may include answering security questions or confirming personal details.

Step 3: Create Your FSU Logon ID

This step involves setting up your username and password for your MyFSU account.

  1. Choose a Username and Password: Select a unique username and create a strong password that meets FSU’s security criteria. Make sure to choose a password that is difficult to guess.
  2. Complete Required Fields: Fill out all the mandatory fields on the registration form, including your contact information.
  3. Set Up Security Questions: You may be asked to set up security questions for account recovery. Choose questions and provide answers that you will easily remember.

Misuse of your MyFSU account may result in the loss of computing privileges, financial restitution to the University, and could lead to disciplinary or legal action.
